Accidentally On Purpose: Halloween 2012

Halloween started with such a simple idea this year, and ended up being a pain, but oh so worth it after Karsyn got the whole outfit together!!!

We were at Bub and Nanny's one day and Zoe decided to dress Karsyn up in an old dance costume that was at the house. So, Minnie Mouse it was!! Karsyn was so excited (and me too cause it was a simple solution so I thought)!! So, we took the dress home, and I started looking for the ears to buy online. No worries, I found them cheap and easy.....until everything Minnie came up on the screen!! Of course, she had to have the giant hands and the tiny high heels to go with the dress!!! So, I ordered it all and told Karsyn it was all on it's way. Then, one day, she decided that Mr. Bear had to dress up too! So, I asked her what he should dress up as and of course, he just HAD to be Figaro (Minnie's cat)! So, the search started again!! I was searching for a tiny dog costume that resembled Figaro. I found one, but at the same time found a stuffed animal that actually was Figaro and asked her if that would be ok to carry (it was much cheaper!!). She agreed, so we ordered it too!! When it all came in, she was the happiest little girl in the world!!! Her dream of Minnie was going to come true!!!

Here is Karsyn all dressed up with the hands, ears, high heels, and of course Figaro in the bucket!!!

Only one problem....the high heels were too small!! She could only stand a couple pictures before she just had to get the shoes off, so luckily, we had some black shoes that would look perfect too!!! You can tell, she is much more relaxed and comfortable from the pictures below!!
