Easter 2012

Karsyn was so excited when she woke up to see that the Easter Bunny had come to the house, she was speechless....and that never happens!!  She couldn't stop smiling at her basket!!  He brought her a Dora coloring book with stickers, some bubbles, a big pink bunny, some pretty new earrings, and most importantly.....candy!!

(Note:  Pay no attention to the crazy, curly hair!!)

After having a great early morning playing with all her new stuff and eating yummy breakfast, we got ready and headed to church!  She got to hunt eggs at church and Adrienne says she is a really good hunter!  She came home with tons of eggs filled with candy! 

After church, we went to Taylor and Stephannie's and ate lunch and got to hunt even more eggs!  Karsyn was in egg heaven!!

We all had so much fun that we let the kids hide the eggs and the adults hunted them!  This turned out to be the best Easter yet!! 
For those of you wondering what happened to Karsyn's forehead, she fell down on a Candyland game piece a few days before Easter, so she had a nice mark and bruise for her Easter pictures!!! 



To Grandma's House We Go!

We were able to get away for a few days and go to Missouri to see my grandparents!  We hadn't seen them since August, and we were missing them terribly!  So, we took a couple days off work, and headed out!  I didn't know how long it would take Karsyn to get used to them again, but I was pleasantly surprised!  It took her about 5 minutes before she wouldn't leave Grandma's side!!

Then, on Friday evening, Uncle Jayson joined us and she just LOVED having him around to play with!  He is such a great uncle!  He even babysat while we went to town!

Yes, once again, I didn't think to take many pictures!  We were having so much fun and it never really crossed my mind!  We miss and love them tons and can't wait until the next time we get to see them!!  Hopefully, we can stay a little longer next visit!!!

A Couple New Things

Karsyn is growing up so fast, and it's hard to remember to get the camera out these days because we are so busy.  But, I did take a couple of pictures of new things we have accomplished!!

 After 2 years and almost 4 months, I got her hair up in a ponytail!!

She loves her hair out of her face and off her neck!  So, every morning, I ask her how she wants her hair, she responds with, "I want a BIG ponytail!!"  So, most of the time, I let her have one!!  Now, her hair is so fine, that it doesn't stay up long, but it's cute while it lasts!!!

The next one really isn't New news, but she cracked me up, so I thought I would post it anyways!!  She is potty-trained, but sometimes she doesn't like to be by herself in the bathroom.  However, she will let you know when she doesn't want you in there!!  She will say, "Be right back" and point her finger at you!!  That is your cue to get out of there until she is done!! 

So, this day, she didn't want to be by herself, so she decided she would take a piece of styrofoam that we had from a box and place it next to the toilet, and make Mr. Bear a potty seat too!!!  LOL!!  She was so proud of herself and even clapped for Mr. Bear when he was done using the potty!!  LOL!! 

I'm sure she will kill me later in life when she realizes that I am posting this pic on the internet, but it was too cute to pass up!!!  Here is Mr. Bear using his potty with her!!  

Spring Fun

The last couple of weeks have been so warm, so we have been taking advantage of it as much as we can!! 

She is becoming quite the lady!!  LOL!!

I think we are going to have a ton of fun this spring and summer!  Karsyn loves to play outside and wants to stay out there for as long as she possibly can!  She begs to please stay out longer when we tell her it's time to go in!

Our Little Valentine

Mark and I love to celebrate Valentine's Day with our little valentine!  We get to go on date night's about once a month, so we always share this special day with Karsyn! 

We made her favorite meal, fried eggs and bacon, on her favorite plate! 

She even got to use her favorite fork!

And she even made us a present at daycare!

Lollipop Heaven

Mark got a huge lollipop for Christmas and Karsyn has been eyeing it since they day she saw it!  Every day, she would ask if she could have it.  Finally, Mark gave in and gave the whole thing to her!  Here she is in Lollipop Heaven!!

Christmas 2011

We had a really good Christmas, but we have been so busy lately, I haven't had time to post about it!  We stayed home this year for Christmas because we caught a flu bug.  Karsyn was sick the week before Christmas, and I had it the day before.  We didn't want anybody else to catch it, so we stayed home and celebrated with just the 3 of us!  It turned out to be a perfect day and we had a blast opening presents! 

Santa came through for Karsyn and brought exactly what she wanted!!  She is one lucky girl!!
