Ashley,

I remember sitting at the coffee table when you were 5 years old helping you learn how to read!  I can't believe that was 13 years ago!  I also remember all the times you made me laugh until I cried, like the time you didn't think I could hold you down, so I tackled you in the living room to prove you wrong!!  You have grown into an amazing woman, and I am proud to call you my niece!  You will go on to do great things in your life and I can't wait to see them all un-fold!  You, my dear, will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart!!  I love you to pieces!!  Congratulations!

Love,
Your Aunt Myranda

Pioneer Days 2012

This year was the 80th Anniversary of Pioneer Days.  We are so glad we were able to be with great friends and join in on all the fun!  I was a little nervous because I knew that it was going to be a full day of activities for a 2 year old, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about!!  She had so much fun and was in the best mood all day long!!

First off, we went to the parade with Rodney, Jena, Dyllon, and Abby.  There were tons of people, but we got the perfect seats.

Karsyn and Abby waiting for the parade to start!

Here they come!!!!

Karsyn had more fun waving at everybody than getting all the candy!!

Dyllon got up to help Karsyn get some candy.
She has finally started to like him!!

Here was Karsyn's favorite moment!!  Mickey Mouse was in the parade and waved at her!!  I wish we could have got a picture of her face when she saw him - It was priceless!!

Mommy and Karsyn having a blast in the hot sun!

Next on our agenda:  The carnival!!!!  Zach, Rhonda, and Lane met up with us for the fun!!  It got so hot that afternoon that we didn't get to stay long.  The seats were too hot on the little kid rides, so she wasn't able to ride them all.  However, she did love riding the horsies!!!

Here is one of the cutest little boys I have ever met!!  Meet Lane, Karsyn's little boyfriend!!!
(I will explain that in a bit!!)

Abby was so nice and rode all the rides with Karsyn!  Isn't she beautiful?!?!

Karsyn riding the swinging boat with Abby!!

Here is Lane flirting with Karsyn!!  I never knew 2 year olds would flirt like these two do!!  It is the cutest thing, and they just have their own little 2 year old conversations all the time!!!  I told Mark that it's a good thing we like Zach and Rhonda cause if this keeps up, they will be our in-laws!!!  LOL

Lane wanted to push Karsyn in her stroller!

Abby and Karsyn riding the boats.  If it wouldn't have been so hot, I bet Karsyn could have been out there for hours!!  She loved the carnival!!!

After the carnival, we took a small break from the heat before we went to the rodeo.  I didn't get to take very many pics at the rodeo, but here is one where you can see that Karsyn loved every minute of it and Lane couldn't take his eyes off the action!!!

We are very thankful for our friends that came out in the heat to have some fun with us!!  It has been at least 16 years since I was at a Pioneer Day Celebration.  I am so glad that we moved back home and get to enjoy these special times with our dear friends.  Can't wait for next year!!!  Oh, and next year, Rhonda, you better let Zach and Lane stay for the whole rodeo!!!!  LOL!!
